CRITICAL MARCH 2026 UPDATE

Humaniti continues to support thousands of displaced families across Gaza through a wide range of critical aid programs. Our work includes education support for schools, medical operations, mobile clinics, disability care, hot meal distributions, and food boxes. We are also regularly caring for more than 3,000 orphans together with their families. Last year, we supported over 5,000 orphans on a monthly basis, and we are returning to that level again after this month because of your generous support.

Our solar water wells remain in operation, and our water trucks continue delivering clean water to communities in need. Food supplies, medical supplies, tents, mattresses, blankets, and other essential aid continue to enter Gaza through routes including Egypt and the West Bank. Our most recent trucks just entered over the second weekend of March, helping us continue this work on the ground.

Needs Assessment (March 2026)

Based on data from the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).

• Shelter: Over 1 million people require support to weather-proof their living quarters.
• Water Access: Clean water sources require maintenance and protection from flood contamination.
• Food Security: 571,000 individuals are currently classified at "Emergency" levels of food insecurity.
• Nutrition: Approximately 290,000 children require ongoing nutritional monitoring and support.
