November 13th is World Kindness Day, a day when we can all take some time out of our busy lives to focus on spreading kindness. The day was created with the goal of promoting kindness around the world. We can all make an effort to spread kindness in our daily lives and perhaps even inspire others to do the same. While one kind gesture may seem small, that single act can have far-reaching effects.
Kindness is not limited to race, religion, or nationality. Anyone can be kind, no matter who they are or their beliefs. It is a quality that we can all strive to possess, and it is something that we can all give to others. On this day, let us remember the impact that one act of kindness can have. By working together, we can make the world a better place for everyone.
This year, Humaniti is once again partnering with York Regional Police, Peel Regional Police, and Toronto Police Services to deliver kindness and smiles.
World Kindness Day is the perfect opportunity to use our project, Share A Meal, to engage with our community and emphasize the importance of kindness in tackling food insecurity. On Saturday, November 12th, and Sunday, November 13th, we will distribute warm meals to those in need across communities in GTHA.
By sharing meals, we aim to not only address immediate needs but also show compassion and kindness to those facing food insecurity. Will you join us in spreading kindness through meals? Donate to Humaniti and help us continue our mission of ending hunger in Canada. Together, we can make a meaningful impact on World Kindness Day and beyond.
Our generous sponsors include Taibu Community Health Centre, Chalo FreshCo (Airport Road + Countryside) and many generous souls.
